However, designer bags hold status and self-worth, portraying an influential perception of power, wealth, and beauty. What elevates the value of a bag is its embroidered label identifying the designer behind the product. The status obsession can defeat the purpose of a common everyday lifestyle product, like a handbag.

I sought to demonstrate how simple stylish products can become devices of our desire. With proper positioning and lighting, ordinary objects, like this handbag, can transform into something glamorous.
